I have put the previous exams on the course website.
Hi,
On Tuesday 3rd of December I will have a repetition lecture and you can also ask questions before the exam.
The group that have not shown the project to me or P?l can do this after the lecture.

I see that many that submitted assignment 1 has not submitted assignment 2. I have extended the deadline for some students, and now I would like to extend the deadline for all that has not submitted until Monday the 25th of November.
Please reach out to me if you are struggling with the assignment. Meet up for the project hours at ITS or collaborate with a fellow student if you have problems with the assignment.
You can choose between two different projects. The description is on the mandatory assignments page.
Please form you own groups on Canvas. I have put out instructions on how to join a group.
Mandatory assignment 3, which is a cooperation project, will start on Tuesday the 19th. I would recommend all students to come to the group session at 09.00 to get instructions on the MoCap equipment and robots from P?l. This will happen in the basement at ITS.
I have to move this week's group session to Wednesday 09.00-11.00. It will in room 308 at ITS.
Next week I am traveling, and we will have a guest lecturer on Thursday. Unfortunately, I have to cancel the group session. Due to this the deadline for the mandatory assignment is extended Tuesday the 22nd.
The problem with virtual machines on Mac is that Mac use another CPU architecture. It is might be possible to install an arm based Linux.

Mandatory assignment 1 has been out a week now, and this is just a friendly reminder that it is smart to start early working with it. Now we have covered all topics in mandatory assignment 1.

I have created and uploaded a virtual machine that can be used VirtualBox. Hopefully this can be used on Mac systems as well. Please try this and come back to me with feedback. The virtual machine download link can be found here
Some of you had trouble with compiling planar_robot_simulator yesterday. I have downloaded and compiled this package on my own system and the virtual machine, and there were no problems. The fault might be something wrong in the configuration of CMakeLists.txt. If you can't find a solution, please send me an e-mail with the code attached, and I will look into this.
There are some issues running ROS, especially on Mac systems. I will look into this tomorrow, and see if I can find a solution.
The upcoming lecture will be a flipped classroom session. I have posted vidoes and tutorials in the schedule. P?l, the ITS engineer, will be present in the lecture room during the lecture hour to answer any questions. During the lecture you may complete the tutorials in groups or individually. I reccomend watching the lecture videos in advance.
Unfortunately, I have to cancel the upcoming lecture on Thursday due to travel. I was unfortunately not able to find a replacement.
