A live recording of the last interactive session is available from the "timeplan". Unfortunately the video shows only parts of the smart-boards, and apologies for that. In that session we went through the examination questions last year and the question on meta-learning in 2019.
All students should be able to see the feedback on mandatory assignments (1,2, and 3) on Canvas. If you cannot see it on Canvas please contact the undersigned immediately.
The model solutions for these assignments can be found in the "timeplan" as well.
There has been enough interest to warrant an addition interactive session on the 3rd. We will go through some past examination questions and sum-up the course. Welcome!
We are approaching the last two interactive sessions of the course. They will be held on the 19th and 26th November. But if there is enough interest, an extra session can be held on the 3rd December to discuss the past examination questions. Please express you interest on this doodle if you are interested (Doodle is open until the 26th November).
The code provided had some problems on Windows. Those who experienced problems can use this python file in place of run_gail.py.
The final mandatory assignment is out. It is available from the timeplan (look for the row for 12th November)
Everybody who submitted the mandatory assignment should have got the feedback by now. If you have not got it, please contact me.
Solution for the assignment is available from the timeplan (Look for this in the row corresponding to 3rd Sepember).
Mandatory assignment 2 is out. It can be found in the timeplan. Look for it in the row for the lecture on the 15. October. The assignment text is long, because it contains a lot of details. But the actual task is not bigger than the mandatory assignment 1 in terms of the number of code lines (approximately 20). The deadline for submission is set to 7th November 23:59 Hrs. You can get help on this assignment through the usual channels.
Please see Canvas for an important message on the date of examination.
Feedback on mandatory exercise 1, will be given during this week. Some of you have already got it.
The mandatory exercise 2, will also be released at the end of this week (after a delay with respect to the schedule).
New videos have been uploaded.
Optional exercises related to RNNs and RNN extensions can be found through 'timeplan'. Even though these exercises are optional, you are encouraged to work on these. "Deep learning theory without programming practice is useless, programming deep learning without theory is blind".
Deadline for the submission of mandatory exercise (26.09.2021) is approaching. Please submit your results and answers in a single zip/tar file on Canvas.
Usually the videos and slides for the topic of the week are uploded on Mondays. If the upload is delayed a message is posted here.
You can discuss the TEK 5040/9040 related issues on this padlet
