Exam format
In the oral exam, each candidate will be asked a set of questions. Around 15 different questions are available. Each student will at the start be given the same questions (around 4-5), and based on the answers, the external examiner will decide which questions to proceed with. The exam will last for 30 to 40 minutes.
The students can use the blackboard if necessary.
Evaluation
The student needs to have a general overview of each sub-topic of the course. In order to achieve the best grades (A or B), the student must elaborate his/her knowledge related to each question. A thorough argumentation and deduction will be valued highly. Detailed questions related to specific facts in the course is not that important.
The teacher and external examiner can ask additional questions, and this is not regarded as negative for the student.
