UNIK4260 – Vulnerability and Security of Wireless Communications
Course description
Course content
Methods and technology for mapping and monitoring of different means of wireless communications at frequencies in the range 30 MHz to 3 GHz are presented. Common measures against being subjected to such methods are discussed. Methods used for jamming of modern communication systems are presented, and measures for protection against such jamming are discussed.
Learning outcome
Common methods for direction finding and position fixing. To do basic calculations in order to protect your wireless systems against mapping, monitoring and jamming.

2 hrs lectures and 2 hrs exercise per week
Examination
Written exam will be given if the number of candidates is high, otherwise the exam is oral. Normal grades (A - F).
