Welcome to MAT-INF 4130 (previously called INF-MAT 4350). You can now download the Lecture Notes and the Semesterplan from the Course documents. The lectures are on Wednesdays 14:15-16:00 and Thursdays 10:15-12:00 starting August 21. The exercise session is every Thursday 12:15-14:00, starting August 29. Of the recommended previous knowledge  the courses MAT1100 - Calculus, MAT1110 - Calculus and linear algebra, MAT1120 - Linear algebra are essential. Some knowledge of programming corresponding to INF1000 - Grunnkurs i objektorientert programmering  or INF1100 - Grunnkurs i programmering for naturvitenskapelige anvendelser will be useful.
