Oral Examination: Date and time

Dear all,

The time for the oral exam will be:

- 11 June 2020: from 10:00 to 12:30 and then from 13:00 to 14:30.

- 12 June 2020: from 10:00 to 12:30 and then from 13:00 to 14:30.

The exam will be conducted using Zoom.

Each student will be allocated about 40 minutes, including: about 20 to 25 minutes for presenting project results using Beamer, and about 15 to 20 minutes for answering questions from peers.

The exact time slot for each student will be informed later. The time slots will be chosen randomly.

Students are encouraged to participate in other students's presentations and to ask questions in there.

Per the new regulation by the university (please see the previous message on this website), we will use Zoom (internet meeting app) for all final presentations in this course.

New rules for final examinations (concerning coronavirus)

Dear all,

The University of Oslo, and specifically the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, has laid down the following regulations concerning final examinations for this semester: (More details, when available, will be posted at this website.) The one concerning our class is:

For oral exam: The exam is run using Zoom. The grade will be pass/fail, and the limit for passing will be 40% (like E at the regular exam). As usual, more detailed information on completion will be closer to the exam.
