"Presentations and beamer" is postponed to June 1st so that we don't compete with the project deadline.

Time and place: Thursday June 1st at 12:15-14:00 in Vilhelm Bjerknes' hus, Seminarrom 123.

We'll discuss this template in class June 1st!

The final presentations for MAT2000 will be scheduled for the 8th and 9th of June.

Please get in touch by email if you an exam conflict on either the 8th or 9th so that we can take that into consideration when scheduling your presentation. 

Due to popular demand there will be two peer review sessions next week Wednesday and Thursday. 

This is in hopes that those with course conflicts on Thursday can also benefit from the peer review process. 

Please bring three printed copies of your draft to either session (or both!).

Tea, coffee, and snacks will be available! 

A reminder that we organize a help desk in the lectures and group sessions May 3, 4 and 10.

On May 11 we'll do a peer review session; bring three printed copies of your draft.

Three important things:

• Bring three printed copies of your mandatory assignment for the group session tomorrow!
• The dates for the oral presentations has been sent to you via e-mail. Please let us know as soon as possible if there are any problems with the date you have been assigned to, or you haven't received an e-mail.
• The mandatory assignment has been opened for submissions in Canvas, and the deadline is Thursday February 23rd at 14:30.

Tomorrow we have a writing workshop during the group session! Bring a printed copy of your project or your laptop so that you can work efficiently! 

Remember that you must send an e-mail to your course responsible and your supervisor to confirm! (The deadline is today, unless you have an agreement with the course responsible.)

Welcome to the first lecture today at 1215-1400 in Seminar Room 123, Vilhelm Bjerknes' hus. 

You can find a list of proposed projects here. The deadline for choosing a supervisor and deciding on a project is February 8th. 

Once you have agreed upon a project with a supervisor remember to send an email with the project name and description (if it is not among the list) to krisshaw@math.uio.no and your supervisor.
