Correction to mandatory assignment 2

I'm afraid there is an issue which I did not see until now in mandatory assignment 2, problem 3. The issue is that it's not so obvious that D is a vector space – in particular, it's not clear how to compute u+v for u in D? and v in D?. This issue only shows up when trying to show that F is additive (that is, F(u+v)=F(u)+F(v)). I will therefore not require that you prove that F is additive in problem 3(c).
To clarify: The problem statements are fully correct, but a rigorous proof is more delicate than I originally thought. I'm very sorry for any confusion that this has caused.
