Acceptance of the obligatory assignment

If your assignment was not accepted, it needs to be improved. The new deadline is Wed 13 May. If you need help, or just want to come and discuss it with me, I'm available on Thursday 1015-1200 in my office: Abel building, 9th floor, Room 911. You can get your (hand-written) assignment back from the Math office, 7th floor.

Compulsory exercise now available from the lecture plan, deadline Thu 16 April. No lecture and tutorial next week because of the midterm exam. So have a nice Easter holiday and see you again on Tuesday 7 April.

On Tuesday 17 March the lecture will be moved to VB Auditorium 1. Same time, 1015-1200.

Curriculum for the calculus of variations and optimal control theory: after quite a bit of thought / research / discussion / feedback I've settled on the book "Optimal control theory..." in English by Seierstad and Sydsaeter. The advantage of this is that all the course material is then in English, making the course accessible to both Norwegian and foreign students.
