The final lecture of the semester is Tuesday November 22. Regarding the mandatory assignment, the correcting process is now finished. Answers can be found at [More].

The mandatory assignment has been posted. You can find it here [More]. The assignment must be submitted by Thursday (3:00 pm), November 3, 2016. You can deliver the assignment at the reception of the Department of Mathematics, 7th floor of Niels Henrik Abels hus, Blindern. Be careful to give reasons for your answers.

The student representative is Keith Zhou (keithzhousiyu[@]gmail.com). Any comments or suggestions regarding the course (e.g., lectures, exercises, book, etc.) can be communicated to him.

The first lecture is on Tuesday 23. August at 10:15, room VB Auditorium 5. It will provide a gentle introduction to some of the topics of the course.
