Another book that covers most of the material is An Introduction to Numerical Analysis by Süli and Mayers.
Curriculum
The exact curriculum is not yet finalized, but will mainly consist of Chapters 1-4 of Faul plus some extra material concerning approximation and optimization. Lecture notes will be made available.
