I will be away next week, so I'm going to use the time slot we have this Friday 19 Sep (1215-1400) to give the lecture about iterative methods. There will be no lecture next week, but Johannes will give the tutorial as usual.

Dear students, there will be two compulsory assignments in this course. You have to complete these (with a reasonable level of success) in order to be allowed to take the written exam at the end of the course. The provisional deadlines are:

Assignment 1: Thursday 25 September

Assignment 2: Thursday 23 October

You will be able to upload your completed assignments to canvas. The first assignment will be published in the next few days.
