Correction about mandatory assignments; additional reading material

Dear all,

In the lectures today I said that there is no mandatory assignment in this course, this is wrong and we will have one mandatory assignment during the semester. I will come back to format and date for the assignment later.

Moreover, I wanted to also point to the course webpage for MAT4250 for the year 2013, here Geir Ellingsrud has made several notes which may serve as good additional reading material.
