Unfortunately I happened to post an earlier version of the exam-solutions last Friday.  The main difference was a different numbering of the parts of problem 3.  It has now been replaced by the correct (I hope) version.

One final remark:  I have been asked about prerequisites for the Differential Geometry course in the spring (MAT4590).  It does use language from the Manifold course (MAT4520), but not much, and what you haven't already had, will be explained as we proceed.  So I hope to see many of you there!

Thursday Nov.27 was the last regular lecture, and I finished the proof of the Gauss-Bonnet theorem. Week 49 (Tuesday Dec.2. and Thursday Dec.4) will be devoted to problem-solving, starting with problems 4-9 from Chapter 5.9.  After that I will discuss  some problems from old exams, starting with the final exam 2013.  Note also that you can find suggested solutions to most previous exams on the web pages from the corresponding semesters.
