In Problems 4b and 4e, you should use mvspec() on the wine series directly, and not detrend it first.
Note that there is no obligation to write the answer to the exam in LaTeX, if you find that too difficult or time consuming. It is perfectly fine to write all or parts of the answers by hand or in another editor of choice. You only need to make sure of the following:
- everything you wish to deliver must be merged into one pdf-file (which may be done for instance by scanning)
- the final document that you submit must be legible. Please make sure that this is the case before you submit.
If you have any questions concerning the exam assignment, you should visit the following link:
https://www.mn.uio.no/om/hms/koronavirus/brukerstotte-eksamen-v20.html
Your questions will then be forwarded to me by the administration, and I will answer questions on Wednesday 3rd, Friday 5th and Monday 8th of June during office hours. As in usual exams, I cannot help you solving the exercises, but you can ask for clarification or about technical issues concerning the exam.
If there are issues raised in your questions, that are of interest to all students, I will post a message here on the semester page, so make sure you check it regularly during the exam period.
Finally, I just want to wish you all good luck!
A Facebook group for discussing questions related to STK4060/9060 has been created at the following link:

All students taking the course are welcome to join!
Next week will be the last lecture. Instead of recording the lecture, it will be given as a direct zoom meeting at the regular lecture time, i.e. Tuesday May 5, 10:15-12:00. To join the meeting, use the following link:
https://uio.zoom.us/j/61269042099
The plan is to go through the last two exercises first, namely
Exercises 4.19 and 4.20.
Afterwards, I will give some information about the exam. Finally, I will open for questions from you.
... are now available. We have now covered the whole syllabus. The plan for next week is to talk about the exam and how to prepare for that. I will come back to the details soon.
- Lecture: Finish Chapter 4.4 and 4.5.
- Exercises: 4.9, 4.10, 4.13, 4.14.
- Lecture: Finish Chapter 4.3 and start on 4.4.
- Exercises (Wednesday): 4.2, 4.7.
The exam is run as a 7-day individual home exam with all aids allowed. The tasks will be similar to a mandatory task. Collaboration will not be considered cheating, but you must have formulated and written the answer that is submitted, and it should reflect your understanding of the syllabus. The grade will be pass/fail, and the limit for passing will be 40% (like E at the regular exam) for the master version of the course. For the PhD version, ordinary rules for pass/fail will be applied. Note also that for the PhD version, there will not be an additional oral presentation, but instead an extra exercise on the exam.
The exam is published in Inspera (https://uio.inspera.no/) at the original examination date and must be submitted as one PDF file in Inspera within the same time 7 days later. The faculty works on solutions for students who may not have access to a computer/network.
Note that there are no lectures next week due to Easter holidays. The plan for the week after Easter is:

Note that it you have not passed, you have until Tuesday April 14 14:30 to submit an improved report according to the comments. I have written comments to all of you, so please read them.
