Here is a suggested solution to the written exam. You can also examine two sketched figures for question 1b and 1c.

The curriculum for STK4080 is given here and for STK9080 here.

The curriculum for STK9080 contain section 3.2.5 which has not been discussed in the lectures. You are expected to read it yourself, but encouraged to contact me if you have questions about the section.

On the upcoming Thursday (17/11) there is no teaching.

On Thursdays 24/11 and 1/12 we will go through previous Exams. We start at 10:15. For the actual exam problems see the Exercises

You will get the project exam assignments on Thursday 17th, November and the deadline for handing in the projects is Thursday 1st, December , at 14:30.

The projects are personalized so I will need to know who will take the exam. Thus please send an email to osamuels@math.uio.no if you plan to do the project. Also note whether you have assigned for STK4080 or STK9080.

The exam in STK4080 and STK9080 will consist of the written exam on December 9 and in addition a project.Tentatively the project will be handed out on November 17 and have a deadline on December 1.
