More detailed information on hybrid teaching from 28th of February
Society is returning to normal – and this will of course also affect teaching. As of week 9, from February 28th, we will no longer use digital platforms as the only platform for general classes, clinical teaching and some courses. Nevertheless, the infection rate by covid will remain high for some time, and you may not attend classes if you have symptoms, such as respiratory tract infection. For that reason we are organizing so-called hybrid teaching.
Hybrid teaching
Teachers and students will attend classes at the lecture halls and other teaching rooms, as specified in the time table. Given that the hospitals still require use of face masks if you cannot keep a distance of 1 meter, you must wear a mask when teaching is taking place in hospital lecture rooms and you are not able to keep a distance.
Your lecturer will teach as usual, but will at the same time record and stream via Zoom to students who are unable to attend on-campus. Coordinating all of this will be demanding for the lecturers, so please be patient while we get this up and running. Our lecturers will get instructions, and we will employ superusers amongst the students, who will assist in the lecture halls.
The different types of teaching
- Lectures must not contain any sensitive information, PDF of slides used will be published beforehand, and recording and streaming will take place instantaneously (in real time)
- Seminars will follow the same guidelines as lectures
- There will be no streaming of clinical training, and no recording. This training will mainly be held with patients present
- Courses are held on-campus and will not be streamed or recorded
- Clinical groups and skills training are also held on-campus and will not be streamed or recorded
