Imortant regarding Anatomy: Please read this before entering the Dissection hall
Dear 9. semester
Please read this before entering the Dissection hall:
- You must wear blue or white coats belonging to the Division of Anatomy in the Dissection hall. The coats must be left at the entrance after use and not removed from the dissection department. Access to the Dissection hall without a coat is not permitted.
- Always wear disposable gloves during dissection and examination of the wet preparations.
- Be aware that the scalpel blades are very sharp and should be used with caution.
- Food and drink in the Dissection hall is not permitted.
- Please follow the rules for the disposal:
- human waste in the red box
- blades from scalpels in the yellow box
- other disposals in the regular waste bins
- Please remember to clean up after your visit. Wipe off the bench, remove tissue debris from the drain, rinse the dissection instruments in hot water after each time. Drain and remove the waste from the plastic box after every use and hang it in place.
- It is very important that the corpse must be treated in an ethically acceptable manner. The parts must always be covered by wet towels and plastic. Just uncover the parts that you shall examine. Never leave the parts without cover, because otherwise they will dry up.
Important: No one without permit can enter the dissection hall. Photography is not allowed.
