I have posted assignments for the seminars 17 and 24 September. They are intended as a drill in some basic concepts of welfarism. I shall expect all participants to come prepared to discuss them in the seminar.

I have posted the notes for lecture 4.

The seminars will proceed according to the original plan. That is, I recommend non-economists to come on 17 September, and economists on the 24. The assignments will be the same.

I expect to give the lecture as usual Tuesday 8, but there will be no seminar Thursday 10. Assignments for the seminars weeks 38 and 39 will be posted Thursday. Hilde

The seminar is cancelled today, Thursday September 3, due to illness.

I have posted some references to the literature on happiness and equality. HB

I have also posted notes for Lecture 1 and the text of a previous exam.

Please note that my office hours are Tuesdays 13 to 14.
