Readings and group work - module 4

Hi all,

The group work for Module 4 will be to solve/analyse a traditional "Harvard Business School type" business case. The case is Telenor, and the case description (file name "case_Telenor A_nc.pdf) is uploaded to a folder in Fronter called "Module 4 readings".

I expect everyone to be there at the first lecture on Monday and to have read this document. The first half of the lecture will be me introducing the module's topics and organisation, and the second half will be Frank Elter from Telenor Research and Innovation presenting additional information to the case (which means you can ask good questions if you are prepared).

The second lecture in the module is a guest lecture by Ellen-Marie Forsberg from Oslo and Akershus University College on Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI). I have uploaded two articles related to this lecture: Stilgoe et al. and von Schomberg. As usual, read them before the lecture (in fronter).

The third lecture is me talking about innovation policy. One article to read: Rasmussen & Gulbrandsen, plus the policy chapter from the Oxford Handbook of Innovation (Lundvall & Borras).

In the fourth lecture you will be the lecturers and will be given one article each to present (very briefly) to your fellow students. You will get this article on Monday 4th of April so be there!

In the fifth lecture you will meet four different organisations and learn how they work with research and innovation: Veidekke, Telenor, Statkraft and the Work and Welfare Directorate (NAV). No specific readings but it can't harm to check out the web pages of these organisations in advance.

In the final lecture you will as ususal present your group work and I will try to make a few summarising remarks about the module and the course.

Send me an email if anything is unclear - and in case students don't check Fronter/Mine亚博娱乐官网_亚博pt手机客户端登录 all the time please tell your fellow students about this if you see it early!
