The lecture and seminar on Tuesday 29 May to be given by Jorun Buli-Holmberg has been cancelled due to strike action in the public sector.
Please be aware that some lectures could be cancelled in week 22 if the strike in the public sector continues.
Delivery of Research Proposal SNE4230 (SSR2) for M. Phil. SNE students MG 2011/2013
You can now deliver your research proposal electronically by uploading your document into the file marked "SNE4230 Submission of Research Proposal" in the left hand margin of FRONTER.
You should put your full name, examination number (in StudentWeb), course code and date on the title page for cross reference.
The submission file will be open until 15:00 on Wednesday 16 May 2012.
Please also deliver an identical paper copy of your research proposal and one signed "Obligatory Declaration " to the administrative coordinator (Denese Brittain). You may deliver to my office (HE 456) before 15:00 on Wednesday or put a copy in my mail box by Friday 18 May if you do not come personally to Blindern on the delivery day.
The electronic delivery is the official one and all documents must have been received before 15:00 as the file will close at 15:00 exactly.

M. Phil. SNE students:
Examination candidate numbers have just been published for SNE4230 Research Methodology SSR-1 Written Examination in Statistics - available via your StudentWeb.
The examination will be held on Wednesday 25 April from 09:00 - 12:00 (3 hours) in Teaching Room 2 Georg Sverdrup's building (GS UR 2).
Remember that you are allowed to have a "simple calculator" with you, but may not use one on your mobile 'phone.
The rooms for the thesis presentation sessions on 1 & 8 February have been changed to HE U30 (1 Feb.) & HE U35 (8 Feb.)
Statistics lectures on SNE4230 now re-scheduled and will begin on Tuesday 21 February (session 1). Statistics 2 now plotted in on Friday 24 February (session 2) See detailed teaching plan.

Research Methodology lectures for M. Phil. SNE programme students (2011/2013 cohort) start in week 2. You will be joined for some sessions by Erasmus Mundus SIE students.
M. Phil. SNE programme students (2010/2012 cohort) will sit the final examination in Research Methodology on Thursday 16 February 2012, 09:00-13:00.
