Join the first Climate Society lunch seminar led by the young and inspiring researcher Berit Kristoffersen (University of Troms?):

Norway's petroleum policy and opportunistic adaptation

When: Thursday 3. September, 11:15-12:00

Where: Auditorium 3, Eilert Sundts Hus

Kristoffersen will talk about Norwegian history of oil and environmentalism leading up to an analysis on the contemporary political context when it comes to drilling in the north and opportunistic climate adaptation.

Climate Society is a low threshold, vibrant meeting place based at the Department of Sociology and Human Geography at the University of Oslo. Meet and talk with students, researchers and others who are interested in the relationship between climate change and society.
