EyeHub Forum - Eye tracking in the wild

In this EyeHub Forum, Alexander Refsum Jensenius (Director for RITMO and Professor of music technology) will give a presentation on the use of eye tracking glasses outside of the lab.

Abstract

How does eye tracking work outside the lab? I will present some examples of using eye tracking glasses in studies of human standstill and in various types of music and art performance. How reliable are trackers during long recordings and how can various video analysis methods complement the tracking.

About the speaker

Alexander Refsum Jensenius is Professor of music technology and Director of RITMO Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies in Rhythm, Time and Motion. He studies how and why people move to music and uses this knowledge to create new music with untraditional instruments.
