TRUST Becomes National Centre for Artificial Intelligence – dScience will serve as the host institution
The Research Council of Norway announced the research environments selected to receive national research centre status for artificial intelligence (AI) at a press conference on 11 June 2025. Among those chosen is TRUST – The Norwegian Centre for Trustworthy AI – which will now receive substantial support to establish a national research centre, with its core located in Oslo Science City. TRUST will be led by the University of Oslo (UiO), SINTEF, and the Norwegian Computing Center, with dScience at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UiO, serving as the host institution. dScience proudly hosted the FENS Regional Meeting in June 2025 (FRM2025), Europe’s largest regional neuroscience conference. From June 16 to 19, more than 1,050 researchers, students, and professionals from across Europe and beyond gathered at the University of Oslo’s Blindern campus for four full days of scientific exchange and collaboration.
