Yousign – digital signature without Norwegian ID and national identity number
The Posten Signering solution should used for digital signatures at UiO, but it can only be used if the signers have a Norwegian ID and national identity number. If you need signatures from individuals without a Norwegian ID and national identity number, you can use the Yousign signature solution.
License
To collect signatures using Yousign, you must have a license. Each faculty is advised to appoint a coordinator to hold a single license, as there are no restrictions on the number of documents signed per license. This should be considered based on what is desired. Those signing in Yousign do not need a license.
Each license costs approximately NOK 5000 per year. The faculty that orders the license will be billed. The license is personal, meaning it is linked to one email address.
Access
You should ensure that you have access to Yousign well in advance of when you need to use the solution. Order access preferably a week before the solution is used for the first time. Access to Yousign is granted for one year at a time, after which you must request reinstatement of access.
If you want to learn more about how Yousign works, you can visit Yousign's website and register for a free trial user by clicking the button "Start free trial." Yousign also has a helpful website with guides where you can read about how the solution works and get assistance to get started.
