Your trial exam is delivered in a Safe Exam Browser though UiOs application kiosk. WMware Horizon client must be installed in advance to run the application. Below is a step by step guide for getting access to your trial exam.
Step 1: Download VMware Horizon Client (MUST be done first)
The exam is conducted through a Safe Exam Browser (SEB) in the UiO application kiosk. Application kiosk can be opened though VMware Horizon Client. To be able to conduct your trial exam you must download and install VMware Horizon Client*.
NB! Requires a restart.
Two-factor authentication:
You have to activate two-factor authentication (2FA) for view.uio.no and Programkiosk. This means that you must use an authentication app on your mobile in addition to your username and password to log in. If you have not already set up 2FA, you can do so by following this guide.
Step 2: Log in to the examination system
Once the VMware Horizon Client already is installed, the exam can be started directly:
Log on UiO application kiosk with VMWare
Use your username and password from UiO as login credentials.
Step 3: Wait for SEB to open, log in to Questionmark
Note that it can take up to 20-30 seconds until the Safe Exam Browser is opened. Please be patient.
Once opened you can take your scheduled assessmets as many times you want within the availiable access period.
