The printer in the PC-room in the basement of Frederik Holsts house (FHH) is now removed and the institute is using Pullprint instead.

To print something please choose Ricoh pullprint on the PC (this is now the standard solution on all PC's at the PC-room). Then go to a Ricoh pullprint printer and swipe your student card and press the Pull Print button on the display.

The pullprint machines are located in entrance floor with the second stair case, and in the 2nd floor close to the third stair case, and in the 3rd floor.

To buy more printouts please do so from https://utskrift.uio.no as before.

Wristwatches are not allowed during school examinations from 18th of April at the university.

Wristwatches must henceforth be put away in bags, jackets or the like together with cell phones, MP3 players and other electronic equipment. During a school examination, an available wristwatch may henceforth be considered as attempted cheating on par with the use of other illegal aids.

There will be visible clocks in all examination rooms, so that the candidates are able to keep track of time. By digital examination, it is also possible to keep track of time on the computer.

Despite decades of debate, these questions, and the larger dilemma of health care quality, remain unsolved. Through examination of such cases as anti-retroviral treatment for HIV/AIDS and cervical cancer screening, Dr. Emanuel will...

Is it the environment or genes? Or both?

The Faculty of Medicine wishes to encourage good dissemination of

A project group from the Faculty of Medicine is therefore presenting a new way of merging research and teaching.
