Information to new students 2022
Welcome to the Master programme in International Community Health.
Introduction Day:
We start with an Introduction Day on the 18 August at 11:00 am in room 123 at Fredrik Holsts house. On this day, we will give you the necessary information you need to get started on your new life as an ICH student. You will meet your student coordinators and most importantly your fellow students. We have also invited your second-year Buddies. We will have lunch together and get to know each other a bit better.
Attendance is mandatory for all new ICH students.
Introduction to the Norwegian Health Care system:
A lecture about how the Norwegian Health Care system works for all the students at the institute. It creates a good foundation for later, and is an opportunity to meet fellow students from the other master programmes at the institute. It takes place on 17 August at 12:00 – 14:00 in auditorium 3 in Harald Schjelderups house.
Getting started:
To get all the accesses you need in order to start your studies at International Community Health, it is important that you, as soon as possible:
- Get username and password
- Pay the semester fee
- Register for courses. The courses you must register for this autumn are the following: INTHE4019, HELSEF4410, INTHE4020, and INTHE4021

Schedule for the Introduction Week and the first course INTHE4019:
The Introductory week is between August 22- 26, followed by the course INTHE4019. The lectures are mandatory, and you find the whole schedule under course INTHE4019.
