You can get back your home exams by visiting me in room 403, Institute of Theoretical Astrophysics. If you remember your candidate number from the midterm exam, the resuts are here. The first column is the candidate number, the second the result of midterm exam, the third the result of home exam and the fourth the average of those. The scale is from 0 to 100.
The final exam is Wednesday, 8th June at 14:30 to 17:30. It is in Vilhem Bjerknes' hus, Store Lesesal (where you had the midterm exam). Good luck!

You can get back your graded mid term exam paper at the lecture or by coming to my office (403).
Astrofysisk Fagutvalg will do a student evaluation of AST2110. Please take an evaluation form in the box in the computer room, fill it in and put it back in the box before the 8th of April.

Mid term exam: The mid term exam is Monday 14th March at 13:30 - 16:30. Place: Vilhelm Bjerknes building. For the mid-term exam, you MUST bring ID. Allowed material is: ?grim & Lian: St?rrelser og enheter i fysikk og teknikk, Rottmann: Matematisk formelsamling, calculator, two A4 pages (can be written on both sides) with your own notes. The syllabus for the exam is chapter 1, 2, 3 & 4 of the textbook + Lilje's lecture notes on special relativity and Aksnes' lecture notes on spherical astronomy and celestial mechanics. Exam papers will be available in both Norwegian and in English. Good luck!
On 8th March there will be problem session (12.15-14) instead of lecture. Exercises will be exercise 1 and 2 from the mid-term exam of 2004.
The problem session on Thursday, 24th February is cancelled since Martin is observing at the Nordic Optical Telescope. Lecture on Wednesday, 23d February is cancelled as announced previously.
On Thursday 3 Feb. 14.15-16 I will lecture about the two-body problem instead of solving problems from Ch 2, as earlier announced. We will instead do the problems on Tuesday 8 Feb. 12.15-14.

Most of chapters 19, 20 and 21 are part of the syllabus for the course, but will not be covered in the lectures. You are recommended to follow the lectures of AST1010 in the period 27 January until 17 February, see link
