Problem set 2
This week we focus on the diffusion equation. The exercises are 2.6, 2.7, 2.9 and 2.11 (optional) from Sethna's book.

A cup of coffee. You can lift the cup by its handle without getting burnt, but if you leave the spoon in, it will quickly become uncomfortably warm. What's the relevant difference between the two?

I got the 2006 Version of the book and it seems there is only exercises 2.1-2.8 in there...
Either you can buy the book at Akademika, or you can look at the pdf-file from this webpage They both have the other exercises.
