The deadline to hand it in will be Friday 4th of April at 3 o?clock.

The midterm exam is pass/fail, so it does not count towards the final grade, but it is mandatory to have passed the midterm to be allowed to take the final oral exam.

No lecture week 13 due to midterm exams

No lectures or problem session in week 13 (25th and 26th of March)

due to midterm exams. But you are welcome to use the lecture room to work on your home exam and we will be available on wednesday if you have questions regarding the exam.

Thorium-workshop so Lecture 5th of March is cancelled

On the 5th of March there will be a Thorium-workshop, so the lecture is cancelled and instead you are welcome to listen to talks at the workshop.

Visit to Halden research reactor

The trip to the Halden research reactor will take place on Monday 24 of February.

There is a train from Oslo S to Halden at 9:00 in the morning, so we will meet at 8:45 under the big clock where the tickets are sold.

First lecture will be 21st january in room vu55 in chemistry building

The first lecture in this course will be given on tuesday 21 january at 10:15-12:00. All the lectures on tuesdays are moved to room vu55 at SAFE in the Chemistry building. To reach this room take a right after you enter the main entrance to the Chemistry building.
