Exotic Physics with ATLAS, F. Ould-Saada
Next week, Tuesday 23.2., there will be a hands-on CompHEP session. We encourage everybody to take part and bring a laptop.
Goals:
- install CompHEP - go through some examples - save data and plots for further use - introduce new physics into compHEP (new particles, new interactions, ...).
- make use of ATLAS data (available through IPPOG masterclasses)

The webcast of simultaneous press conferences of the LIGO and VIRGO Collaborations from Washington and Cascina on the search for gravitational waves will be transmitted TODAY on Thursday 11 February 2016 at 16:30 in the Main Auditorium (500/1-001):

"New results on the Search for Gravitational Waves“ by Barry Barish (Caltech/LIGO)
Representatives of the LIGO, VIRGO and GEO experiments will be available for questions after the seminar.
