A quick and dirty solution to the 2008 exam set is here
You find GEF2500 Exam questions 2008 here. We go through it on Wednesday, May 20., which is the last lecture this term.

Here are some exercises i found, which we will look at this friday. Exercises We will also talk abit about isobaric coordinates and maybe go through the planetary Ekmann layer, chapter 5.7.
On Wednesday 13. May we have an ordinary lecture from 12.15-13, and then we visite the Hydrodynamic Laboratory in the Mathematics Building to study surface waves.

This friday there will be no exercises. Rather I will repeat the beginning of chapter 5 in the compendium, and continue down to equation 5.3.8. This is the equation you will work with in the obligatory exercise, so it is important to understand it properly.
Welcome back after mid-term exams and Easter! Tomorrow, after the lecture, we hand out Oblig. 3 (also on the net), which should be returned before/on 27.04. For details regarding the lectures/group in weekl 17, please look at "Detaljert undervisningsplan".
