Here is an example of a mid-term exam from 2004, on the multiple choice form. Mid-term exam will be based on Chapters 2-5 in Pickard & Emery and Chapters 1-5 in the Lecture Notes.

The first field cruise will start on Friday 20th February, 0900 at Pier no. 4, Oslo Harbour, in front of the Town Hall. All participants must fill out a field card or feltkort , and deliver it no later than at the lecture on Thursday morning.

Lectures on Tuesday 1215-1400 are now permanently moved to Monday 1615-1800, Auditorium 2. Thursday lectures are not changed.
Some students have reported problems with the time for the Tuesday lecture. We are trying to change it without creating new problems for the other students. However, until we have found a better schedule, the time will be 1215-1400.
