Course content

Advanced plant physiology. The emphasis of the course is on transport and translocation of water and solutes, energy flow, metabolism, growth and development and interaction between plants and environment.

Learning outcome

The aim is to give the students increased knowledge of metabolism, physiology and structure of plants together with a better understanding of regulation of growth and development and influence of environment.

Teaching

This course will consist of lectures, seminars and obligatory laboratory work.

Examination

Approved participation and laboratory journals. One written examination at the end of the semester (3 hours).
