Hi all!
Remember the group presentations on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday next week. The presentation is not part of the graded evaluation of the project work, but is intended to help you clarify your understanding of the project case and your plan forward. Information about the expected content of the presentation is available here. You will present on the day and timeslot of the seminar group you are assigned to as shown in the group overview. Make sure to be ready to present in the zoom-room within the given time and day. It is also useful to listen to the others present as you may have similar questions.

If you find DHIS2 and the field of Information Systems and platforms interesting, writing a master thesis for the IS group may be something for you. On Tuesday 6th of October at 09.15 in "Store Aud", Kristen Nygaard's Hus (and on Zoom) we will present available master projects in our research group. You can also see a list of available projects here.

The project cases are now available on the Project page in the right-hand menu. Please read all the practical information and case background carefully, and select one of the two cases for your group to work with. The first step is to try to define concretely what you should build given the background and more specific information and requirements provided. In the lecture on Monday, there will be a Q/A session regarding the cases.

Some key information/updates about the course:
- We decided to extend the limit on the number of students in the course - so all 150 applicants are now part of the course. For the students abroad that cannot attend the exam in Oslo in November, we're investigating the possibility of an alternative. More info on this will follow.

In the seminar groups, you can get help with work related to the individual assignments, and with the group project later in the semester.

The seminar groups will be on Zoom, where group teachers will be available to answer questions and provide help beyond the online web-development learning course

Hi!
Monday next week, I'll give an introduction to the topic and practicalities of the course. The lecture will be held "live" on Zoom, from 10:15 and will be recorded and published on the course page. This means that if you unmute your microphone or camera you will be made part of the recording. To avoid being part of the recording, please use the chat in Zoom to ask questions, or ask them in the Q/A session in the end of the lecture, which is not recorded.

This course provides a practical and theoretical introduction to the increasingly relevant phenomenon of digital platforms. The course is separated into two parts: 1) A practical part where the students are provided with an introduction to the development of web-based applications for the global health platform DHIS2.
