INF5072 – Performance in Distributed Systems
Course description
Schedule, syllabus and examination date
Course content
Understanding the limits of system performance and the bottlenecks of distributed systems is challenging and vital to the deployment of any modern high-performance system. The course focuses on techniques you can apply to properly analyse system performance and further locate the bottlenecks in the end-to-end system.
Learning outcome
After completing this course you have:
- learned about demands and solutions with respect to performance in distributed systems.
- learned and gained experience in designing and performing experiments.
- learned about and experimented with algorithms and architectures.
- gained practical experience in evaluating and improving performance.
- learned how to present and visualise analysis data to highlight the most relevant results.
Admission
