Note: in the exam_prep note, one should add: "Network flows, maximum flows, minimum cuts: see syllabus + notes from lectures". Good luck on the exam!
The notes from the final two lectures are now on this webpage.
A minor change was done in "An Intro. to Convexity": a proof of eq. (4.1) is now included. Also a typo in last line of Example 4.1.1 was corrected.
Concerning the exam: see "Preparing for the exam" on this page; it could be of some use.
Exercises: Sorry, I (Geir) forgot to add the final exercises from chapter 4 in Convexity; they are now there, see week of 29.09.
The second part of oblig 2 is now on the web. There is a description pdf file and a OPL data file. Deadline: November 16.

NOTE: This week there is one additional lecture: Thursday Sept. 9., 14.15-16 in room B1036.
The teaching is organized as follows: the first two hours are ordinary lectures, while the last hour is "class" where you work on exercises, theory and discuss/ask questions; the teacher (Geir D. or Carlo M.) is present all the time. Today I gave an introduction and lectured on Chapter 1 in Convexity. In class we discussed, among other things, how to find point in a general polyhedron.
The lectures will be in room B1036 (Abel): welcome!
