Because of extremely icy roads, I will not come to the university today, Tuesday 24. November. The lecture is postponed until Thursday. This is the final lecture before exam. 

The mandatory assignments have been corrected. Notification of outcome has been sent (by e-mail).  Deadline for 2. (final) attempt is set to Friday 6. November, at 15:00.

The assignment must be submitted before 14:30 on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at the reception of the Department of Mathematics, the 7th floor of Niels Henrik Abels hus, Blindern. To have a passing grade you must have satisfactory answers to at least 50% of the questions and have attempted to solve all of them.

The student representative is Cedric Beschle (cedric[at]beschle-eningen.de). Any comments or suggestions regarding the course (e.g., lectures, exercises, book, etc.) can be communicated to him.

Lectures/exercises on Tuesday and Thursday at 10:15-12:00, room 1036 (NHA house).

The course starts on Thursday August 20, with a short overview of the course and solution formulas for the transport equation (Chap 2).
