Dear all,
You can deliver your final report in Inspera. The deadline is at 14:30 PM, Thursday 20 May 2021. More instructions can be seen in Inspera.
Best wishes,
There was unfortunately an error in the Zoom link today, so I will hold a final help desk Wednesday May 19 at 10:15-12:00. See the Zoom link page for link.
For final written report:
Deadline: 20 May 2021.
Length: between 11-20 pages.
For final exam:
No beamer requirement, you can use whatever convenient to deliver your presentation (such as Whiteboard in Zoom).
Time: about 30-40 minutes for each student, including: about 15-20 minutes for presentation, and the remaining for questions from examiners and peers.
There will be help desk sessions (Zoom) on May 3rd, May 4th and May 18th. See Zoom page for link.
The examination is on Zoom.
The date is 15 June 2021.
Just inform us, by 15 May 2021, if there is some time in the day you are not available, together with a legit reason. We can then arrange a suitable time for you.
The Zoom link will be sent to you later.
Now that we have decided on Zoom as the format for the oral presenations, please note that you may freely decide which tools to use to present your mandatory assignment. You may prepare a beamer slide-show or you may use Zoom whiteboard or other digital whiteboard tools.
The main goal is that you prepare a presentation and that you reflect on your feelings and the choices you make both in the planning of and after the presentation.
The oral presentations will take place during the lectures and group sessions the following dates:
March: 1,2,8 and 9.
You will be notified which day you must attend by Monday February 22nd, but you may send me a wish list by Friday February 19th if you want to.
Please note that the group session February 16th is cancelled.
Remember to bring your draft in .pdf-format and prepare to comment on the .pdf-file with an appropriate program. See here for the plan and the condensed checklist.
Hi everyone,
The lecture scheduled today is unfortunately cancelled. The topics scheduled for today will be moved to the group session tomorrow. I apologize for the inconvenience.
To save some time for tomorrow, please make sure that you have the software necessary to write in LaTeX (see the course page) or a user on Overleaf.
-Karoline
The lecture and group session January 18 and 19 will be digital.
Welcome to the project work courses! All plenary teaching in MAT2000, MEK3200 and STK-MAT2011 are joint lectures and group work in January and February. The majority of the semester is spent working on a project with an assigned supervisor, which will culminate in a written paper and an oral exam.
Depending on the national Corona regulations, some of the lectures will be digital, and Zoom links are posted on this web page (UiO-login required). This may change with short notice throughout the semester, so please subscribe to the messages and check in on this web page and the schedule regularly.
The lectures are primarily led by Karoline Moe. In addition, each course has a course leader:
