We will spend the remaining lectures solving exercises. First, we will solve ex. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9 and 10 at pp. 136-137, thereafter we will study the final exams from 2004 and 2005.

You should check the database and make sure you are registered for the final exam. (The PhD students will not find themselves in the database, but everyone else intending to meet for the exam should be there.)

Anyone intending to follow the course in set theory next spring, should inform me as soon as possible, and no later than Monday.

To be enrolled for the final exam, each and one of you has to complete an assignment. The assignment is to solve the set of excersises handed out in class last Monday. The deadline is October 20. Any student not meeting the dealine, will not be registered for the final exam.

To get a copy of the assignment exercises, you can adress me after a lecture.

Next week we will spend most of our time solving exercises from Chapther 2. I addition to the exercises listed below, you might also prepare yourself for the following exercises: 2.8.1 (page 81): ex. 2, ex. 4, ex. 5, ex. 6, ex. 5, ex. 8.

The lecture Friday the 15th will take place in one of the seminar rooms at the 6th floor, probably the room immediately beneath our regular room. I will start to lecture Chapther 2 of Leary's book.

The next weeks I will lecture the 1st chapter of Leary's book. The following exercises might be solved during the lectures: 1.3.1 (page 15): ex. 2, ex. 3. 1.4.1 (page 20): ex. 3, ex. 4, ex. 5.
