All mandatory exercises have been corrected, and you did a great work. Everyone who handed is has passed. Please check that you are registered on the list on the web, and collect your task at the institute office.

There will be no teaching on Thursday 5 November. Everyone is recommended to attend the finance and insurance course presented by Prof. Kiesel, one of the world-leading experts in financial mathetaics.

On Wednesday and Thursday (4+5 Nov) next week, professor Ruediger Kiesel from University of Essen in Germany will give 8 hours of lectures on finance and insurance. This seminar is particularly targeted at master and PhD students in insurance mathematics and mathematical finance. The course may be used as part of a special curriculum for the master degree in both specializations in the FFR master. More information is found here

Septmeber 24 there will be no teaching.

IMPORTANT!!!!! Due to an unexpected incident, the teaching tomorrow, Thursday 10, is postponed to 14.15. Hence, we have two hours of lectures from 14.15-16, and the exercise class for this week is postponed untill next week.

Please remember, you need to elect 1-2 student representatives. This will take place in the break between first and second lecture on Thursday, Aug. 27.

Welcome to STK4510!

We start the lectures on Thursday August 20, at 12.15. Every week we will have two hours of lectures, and one hour of tutorial classes. If necessary, there will be an additional hour or two of lectures. This will be announced in the detailed plan for the lectures and tutorials.

On Thursday Aug. 20 we will have 4 hours of lectures, starting at 12.15. Please be prepared for a hard start...:-)
