Dear All,

Let me please confirming that the final examination in FYS3410 will take place at room 3219 at the  Kristen Nygaards hus (GA04-3219).

Dear All,

Time is going fast and FYS3410 is well syncronized with that fact :) - it goes fast too, so that we went nearly halfway, making it reasonable to ask you doing midterm evaluation of this course.

Please find the questionnairies at the course webpage, see e.g. http://www.uio.no/studier/emner/matnat/fys/FYS3410/v15/fys3410_midtermevaluation.pdf . There is also a doc-file of this document available, if it is more convinient for you.

Please participate in this evaluation! Any form of your responce - to all questions or a few only - is vital for me. Your answers and comments will remain anonymous, and to keep it that way, please drop your evaluation into the FYS3410 box at the Expedition Office of the Dept of Physics.  It would be optimal if you could return the evaluation together with the delivery of the 2nd practical as...

 Dear All,

8 practical assingments are suggested to exercise with on the topics we covered so far. On the 3/2 at noon I will announce which 3 of these 8 should be delivered proving your excellency in these topics. The delivery is due on the 6/2 at 10:00CET - either to the FYS3410 box at the Dept of Physcs Epedition Office or directly to me via email. The feedback will be provided asap. Please be aware, your delivery records will be assessed when deciding the final grade at the examination.

Once again thanks for choosing FYS3410 for your studies during Spring 2015. I am very happy with the progress we made during the lectures and aprecciate you interest, communications, questions, emails, etc, thanks. I am about to publish our "Practical assignments" for Module I and wish you gaining futher experience when dealing with these exercises!
