Forrige gang (11. nov. og 18. nov.) innf?rte vi statistiske verkt?y (f.eks. mean excess function) til klassifisering av lett- og tunghalede fordelinger av kravst?rrelser (kap. 3.2 i Mikosch). Dessuten studerte vi  fordelingen av samlede totalskadesummer ved hjelp av "mixture distributions" (kap. 3.3.1, 3.3.2). En annen metode til beregning av slike fordelinger som vi skal bli kjent med (25. nov.) er Panjerrekursjonen (kap. 3.3.3 i Mikosch)).

Last time (11. Nov. and 18. Nov.) we introduced some statistical tools for the assessment of the goodness of fit of claim size data to the claim size distribution in our model (QQ-plot, mean excess plot) (see Ch. 3.2 in Mikosch). Further we also studied the distributional properties of aggregated total claim amounts by means of "mixture distributions" (Ch. 3.3.1, 3.3.2). Another method for the computation of such distributions is based on the Panjer-recursion, which we aim at looking at next week (25. Nov.). See Ch. 3.3.3 i Mikosch.
