The following article is a guide on how to use the Autotekst service in Educloud. Autotekst is a service for automatic transcription of speech to text from both audio and video.

Introduction

Autotekst provides an automatic transcription service that converts speech to text from both audio and video files. To utilize this service in Educloud, simply visit "autotekst.uio.no". Once there, upload your file, await its processing, and then download the transcribed result.

Step by step

  1. Open a browser in your Educloud project, and visit "autotekst.uio.no".
  2. Log in using your Feide credentials, or via Educloud if your project has been registered with Autotekst.
  3. To upload a file, you can either drag and drop it directly into the designated file field, or you can click on the file field to browse and select a file from your Educloud instance. To locate your project folder from file explorer, click on "This PC," and then access "ecXXX" from within the Network Drives section.
