- Sign in to Microsoft 365 with your username@uio.no and click Next.
- You will see to the Sign in page of UiO (Universitets- og h?yskolesektoren), where you log in with your username@uio.no and password. Click Sign in.
- If you are asked if you want to stay signed in, you can click yes. Next, you will see this dialog, stating that the UiO needs more information. Click Next to start the activation process.
- Click I want to use a different authenticator app.
- Download Google Authenticator for your phone.
- Open Google Authenticator, click Scan a QR code.
Accept with OK that Authenticator is allowed to access the camera to scan the QR code. - Click Next in the browser on your computer.
- The setup guide now shows you the QR code that you are to scan with your phone.
- Point the camera on your phone, while in Google Authenticator, to scan the QR code. The Authenticator app will now automatically configure two-factor authentication for you.
When completed, you will have a code generator for UiO in Google Authenticator on your phone.
- Click Next in the browser on your computer.
- Enter the code shown the Google Authenticator in the browser window.
- You have finished setting up two-factor authentication.
